Toddler games without ads
Many free games for little children are paid for with ads, pop-ups and buttons that lead to a shop. That is hard for a toddler who just wants to tap. Glowbug was made without any of it.
What you won’t find in Glowbug
- Ads of any kind, in Child Mode or anywhere else
- Prices, locks, “buy now” buttons or sign-in prompts in front of your child
- Links that leave the app
- Points, streaks, rewards or anything that nudges them to come back
- Autoplay into the next thing
How it is paid for
The free plan includes six worlds, Magic Journey, 30 library games and every parent control, with no account needed.
Glowbug Plus, an optional subscription for grown-ups, adds the remaining worlds and games. It is only offered on the grown-up pages, behind a press-and-hold, never in Child Mode.
Other things to check in any app
- Who the app is made for, and whether it asks for your child’s data
- Whether a child can reach settings, purchases or the web
- Whether it ends on its own or carries on forever
Questions parents ask
Does Glowbug have ads?
No. Glowbug has no ads anywhere.
Can my child buy something by accident?
No. Child Mode never shows prices or purchase buttons, and subscribing needs a signed-in grown-up to press and hold.
Does Glowbug collect data about my child?
No. Your child’s age setting stays on your device. Website visits on the grown-up pages are counted anonymously, without cookies, and nothing is counted in Child Mode.
